Gypsum putty mixture is intended for plastering walls and ceilings in dry environments, both for initial and final leveling. It is used for leveling brick, lime, concrete walls, surfaces to be painted or wallpapered inside the building, at an ambient humidity of no more than 75%. Not waterproof. Not intended for floor leveling. Working time with the ready-made mortar: at least 60 minutes. Average thickness of the applied layer: 1-2 mm.
Ingredients: The mixture consists of a combination of gypsum and calcium carbonate, as well as cellulose additives, which regulate the bonding process during the work.
Surface preparation and use: Carry out the work at an air temperature of not less than +10˚C and a relative humidity of not more than 75%. Gradually add dry mortar to room temperature water, mix with a mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Leave the mortar to mature for 5-7 minutes, mix again before use. Perform the work with a stainless spatula (spatula). First clean the surface from dust, dirt, other unstable formations (e.g. remnants of old wallpaper, oil paint, etc.), eliminate weak areas of the base, making the surface as load-bearing as possible. Expand small cracks by filling them in advance before the general layer. If necessary, it is recommended to use a liquid primer. After complete drying, to obtain a smoother surface, it is necessary to sand the surface. After completing the work, wash the tools with water. Dispose of used bags and mortar residues in accordance with the established procedure.
