The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in March 1925, initially as the Yerevan Conservatory Orchestra. Currently, the ANPO is a national professional orchestral music center in Armenia. The works of Aram Khachatryan, Arno Babajanyan, Edward Mirzoyan, Alexander Harutyunyan, Avet Terteryan and many other Armenian composers, performed by world-famous musicians, have a special place in the programs of the ANPO.
