The State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia presents a special concert dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of Edward Mirzoyan, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia and the USSR, prominent composer and cultural figure.
The musical evening will begin with an exclusive work of baroque music - Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major (BWV 1068) by Johann Sebastian Bach.
In the second part of the concert, the audience will enjoy Edward Mirzoyan's `Symphony for String Orchestra and Strings`, which is considered one of the important masterpieces of Armenian symphonic music of the 20th century.
The concert will be conducted by conductor Vahagn Papyan.
