The film tells the story of four women living in the Republic of Artsakh, an unrecognized country that has not yet managed to overcome the consequences of the previous war, but is already on the verge of a new war. In these uncertain times, the four women build their lives in the hope that they will be able to make their home a better and safer place. When war breaks out again, what began as reflections on the role of women gradually turns into an important and honest account of lives interrupted by war once again. From the moment they stand on the front lines with weapons in their hands to the moment they leave their homes like refugees, we witness how the lives of each of these women are irrevocably changed. The end of the war seems unimaginable: complete ethnic cleansing and deprivation of their homeland. As these women struggle to adapt to their new reality, the film becomes a moving story about the memories of a home lost forever and keeping those memories alive.
