«Gardenia» is a highly artistic work, first of all with its narrative, as well as with clear, sharp dialogues and seemingly simple language. This is a message addressed to today's reader, and then to the viewer, about the role of a woman, the challenges thrown at her by fate, and self-knowledge.
Four women whose destinies are intertwined. All four are beautiful and nameless (they are only «numbered») and in their minds, subconsciously and even unconsciously search for the image of their own family, discovering on the way of these searches the sensual world sleeping within them, the reflection of which the author of the work skillfully reflected on everyday problems and desires. The storms raging in the soul give rise to seemingly strange desires: to drink something, to draw something. Four women of different ages who are searching for themselves, without even realizing it.
