Product description

Self-leveling floor (mortar) is a smooth coating used to level horizontal concrete and cement-based foundations of a building, followed by the installation of the final decorative layer (ceramic tiles, linoleum, laminate and other floor covering materials). It is monolithic and allows you to remove even the smallest irregularities. Unlike the initial rough layer of the base, the self-leveling floor consists of a mixture that forms an ideally flat base, spreading evenly over the surface.

Ingredients: The mixture consists of a combination of silicate sand, Portland cement, as well as polyvinyl acetate adhesive and cellulose additives.

Surface preparation: The base must be solid, dry, clean, free from various contaminants and materials that will negatively affect the adhesion of the base and the leveling material layer (oils, lubricants, residues of glue, paints and varnishes, etc.). Weak parts of the base must be removed mechanically, and the entire surface must be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. Possible holes, cracks, and unevenness of the surface must be leveled separately with high-strength mortar, wait for complete drying, then treat with a liquid or granular primer (acrylate, beton contact). After priming, ensure ventilation of the area, continue work after at least 12 hours.

Usage: Pour 5.5-6 liters of water into a clean container (at a temperature of +10˚C to +30˚C and a relative humidity of no more than 65-70%) for 25 kg of dry screed. Gradually add dry mortar and mix with a mixer with a head drill until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Mix the finished mortar again after 2-3 minutes, after which it is ready for use: Before starting work, make sure that the surface is completely dry (usually about a day is required). The solution should be poured from the deep part of the room, gradually, evenly spreading it with a spatula and a special needle roller, approaching the exit. The needle roller helps to remove air residues from the solution. After spreading, the mixture begins to harden quickly, therefore, to obtain a monolithic layer, it is necessary to work without delay and breaks (working with wet mortar up to 15 minutes). Layer thickness - not less than 3 mm. During the work and for the next two days, the air and base temperature should be in the range of +5 to +30˚C. ATTENTION: Rapid drying of the solution by artificial intervention is not allowed. After completing the work, wash the tools with water. Dispose of used bags and mortar residues in accordance with the established procedure.

Minimum layer thickness: starting from 3 mm.
Pot life of the mixture: 15 minutes.
Water consumption: 5.5 - 6 l per 25 kg (approximately 230 ml per 1 kg of dry mortar).
Consumption: 4.8 kg / 1 m² (in the case of a layer thickness of 3 mm).
Final hardening: after 72 hours.
